This is not about hot and spicy food -- it's about well-balanced flavors, as ancient as the Aztecs and as sophisticated as French cuisine. $35.

Tuesday, March 8th, 4:30 pm
, 321 Johnson Street

Sake tasting will be used to illustrate points in the lesson. Ayame's ABC's of Sake tries to de-mystify the world of artisanal sake from Japan, and is an excellent introduction to this harmonious drink that can be paired with all kinds of cuisines. If the guest stays for dinner that same evening, he or she will receive $5 off a bottle (720ml) or a demi (500ml) of sake from Shohko Cafe's extensive sake list. $10, by reservation only.
